About us

The Diet Advisors is an independent London-based healthcare service led by Maureen, who has over 10 years of clinical nutrition experience gained through working in the NHS and a variety of private settings.

We are passionate about educating, motivating and promoting health and wellbeing, and we do this by translating scientific research into practical lifestyle changes  to help achieve nutrition and lifestyle goals.

Lots of people will say they are experts in nutrition and will provide questionable advice that may put your health at risk. Registered Dietitians are the only health  professionals that assess, diagnose and treat nutrition-related problems.

What our clients say

  • The nutritional advice that Maureen provided was one of the most significant factors in enabling me to complete my cycling event in a time that I could be proud of.

    - Matt, 30 -
  • Cleared up so many misconceptions I had about food, and helped me to implement a diet plan that is right for me. Changed my life!

    - Theresa, 40 -
  • I came to Maureen straight from 4 months in inpatient treatment for an eating disorder. She has helped me regain independence and confidence around food, working with me with compassion an understanding to build up a maintainable mealplan and sustainable way of living

    - Lily, 20 -
  •  Before I met Maureen I had spent several years following diet fads that never seemed to work for very long. Maureen gave me advice that was realistic, scientific, and that helped me to lose weight slowly but systematically. With an occasional blip I have been able to stick to her proposed eating plans and I am heading towards a long term weight loss of 1 stone, which I think I will be able to sustain. I have found Maureen enormously helpful and I cannot recommend her more.

    - Brendan, 63 -

How do The Diet Advisors work with clients?

  • Lets  be clear about what we DON’T do. We DON’T just give you a standard meal plan and expect you to follow it. We DON’T just  tell you what you have to eat. We DON’T  judge.

    - We work WITH our clients -
  • We DO teach you about the principles of healthy eating. We DO help you work towards achieving the nutrition that your body needs. We DO work with you to devise a meal plan that you find achievable, realistic and is tailored to you.

    - We work WITH our clients -
  •  We are guided by YOU and YOUR aims. We help you identify goals you want to work towards around food, eating behaviours and weight, and support you to retrain your appetite and work towards healthy eating.
